Just dropping in to say hi. New to posting on the site, can't wait to start asking the many questions I have about getting to Canada. Hope there are loads of people out there ready and willing to share their knowledge!
Oh and I'm another Scot trying to escape the UK, be none of us left in Scotland soon.

We are hoping to relocate to Ontario, big place, I know. Oakville is looking good to us at the moment but we still have loads of research to do, including a few trips to Canada to make sure the east will be the right place for us in terms of jobs, community, etc. I suppose we have plenty of time to get organised as it is taking up to 52 months to get PR! We would go tomorrow given the chance.
What about you, are you in Canada, on the waiting list?
Where are you going to/living in Canada?

52 months! That's unreal! Take a look at PNP when you decide where you are going or getting a job offer and a work permit. You would get in quicker that way to start with.
We are going as entrepreneurs to Vancouver Island hopefully soon!
Can I just ask how you got all those blue squares?
You've done well for 7 posts!

You've done well for 7 posts!I think we will have to try another route as I'm not sure I can last 52 months. Spoke to another member who has been really fortunate and had a job offer within 6 weeks. It's just how to get started - using reliable consultants, etc, who are going to put their all into helping us get to Canada sooner rather than later. Anyway I know this is meet and greet not question time so anyway you are so lucky going to Van Island as entrepreneurs (although I bet you've put in loads of blood, sweat and tears to get there). What type of business do you plan to set up/invest in to get there?
