I've found this forum really helpful.
I've started to put together everything I need in order to start preparing to move to Canada.
I'm 24 and am going to apply for Edmonton Police. This is something I've always wanted to do. I'm in the process of getting my qualifications translated into Canadian ones so I know what to put on the application forms.
I am doing this alone so if there is anyone out there who is thinking the same as me and are planning to go....contact me. I'd love to chat to others so I don't feel so alone :-(
My family haven't got a clue about what to do (which is understandable)
I look forward to hearing from anyone
Zoe

Welcome to BE Zoe
Have you seen the working abroad by profession - Police subforum? I think there are a lot of Edmonton applicants past and present in there who can probably help with tips and info

Hi Zoe and Welcome to BE.
I for one think you are very courageous and you are taking a good step forward.
You are never alone in BE...very soon you may wish you were though
You've been warned

It must be a little bit scary when you're doing it alone, but this place is great, you'll meet lots of lovely people and receive fantastic advice

Good luck chick!
