HEALTH HAZARD ALERT - PIECES OF HARD PLASTIC IN CARAMEL FILLED SMALL (8.5 g) CHOCOLATE EGGS MADE BY CADBURY ADAMS CANADA INC.
OTTAWA, May 5, 2006 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Cadbury Adams Canada Inc. are warning the public not to consume the small (8.5 g) caramel filled chocolate eggs individually wrapped in Caramilk labelled foil and in unlabelled purple foil, described below because they may contain pieces of hard plastic.
These small (8.5 g) caramel filled chocolate eggs were manufactured by Cadbury Adams Canada Inc. The individual small (8.5 g) caramel filled eggs are wrapped in a foil and sold in packages of various sizes, formats and also in bulk. The affected products may also have been packaged and sold under different names.
The following products contain the affected small (8.5 g) caramel filled chocolate eggs which are individually wrapped in labelled orange and brown foil:
