That is exactly what happened to Cedrika Provencher from Trois Rivieres,Quebec. She was out and about on her bike when a suppossedly pedophile stopped and asked her to help him find his dog . That was two weeks ago. Apparently this person had stopped several other little girls in the previous days before the kidnapping asking them to help them find his dog. The others fled, but unfortunately Cedrika didnt. Her mother made a heart wrenching plea to the person to return her daughter on TV. It had me bawling . I have since gone through safety tips with my kids . Dont be so naive that you think your son is safe. Just see how many pedophiles live in your area. There are a few registered in mine and I live in a nice part of the City... and those are the ones that have been caught!:ohmy: and there are about 60 registered for the whole City of Montreal according to memory from a recent Gazette article |

Of course, as everyone knows, a child is far more likely to be sexually abused by a member of their own family than a complete stranger, so it probably makes more sense to keep an eye on people closer to home.
