Happy New Year!
Wishing everyone on the boards a wonderful new year!
I would like to thank everyone for being so supportive this year, and I hope that this time next year sees us celebrating in Canada with new friends. For those living the dream already - have a great night! And for those, like us, not quite there yet - I wish that 2010 makes dreams come true and hard work provide much bounty!

I'll be very happy to close the door on 2009, unfortunately I think 2010 will be halfway through before things get better for us here

I do hope...really hope...that 2010 is a good one...I am trying this New years eve without the plonk as the last five years have been horrible...so I am going to meditate quietly with a hot cuppa and watch the fireworks from my window.
I hope truly to be back in UK at some point in 2010 reunited with people I should never have left behind to go on this great 35yrs long adventure
I can truly say that I have been there and done it and now it's time to go home!!!
