Default Happy Canada Day!

As the wife of a Canuck living in the US, we still celebrate Canada's birthday. Have to say if anyone has the opportunity to visit Ottawa during this time, their celebration of their holiday is awesome. I've had that chance and it is a wonderful celebration from morning through night.

Not often one sees a Mod start a duplicate thread

As it happens, I shall be popping down to Ottawa later on. We've actually been blessed with a sunny day.

Millions of years if you're talking the land.

139 if you mean since the nation state or Dominion was first formed.

Happy Canada Day to my relatives in Windsor, Ontario. Get out the beers or something stronger if you have it "OH! Canada"

Happy Canada Day everyone!!!!!!

If you're up for a Canada Day challenge try the quiz from todays Calgary Herald. It was most likely in the other major dailies too.

75 questions about various facets of Canada.

Cheers
Steve

It was a good Canada Day in Ottawa.

Lots and lots of people on Parliament Hill - lots of entertainment, both on stage, on the ground and in the air. Got to see Stephen Harper live for the first time.

Fireworks were great - saw them from the Quebec side of the river - perfect viewing point. A great day was had by all.
