I may not live there (I choose not to), but I work there so I reckon my opinion is valid. In fact I was driving down Burlington Street (in Canada's top 10 worse roads apparently)only yesterday afternoon through the steelworks in the north of the city, feeling fortunate that I don't have to live there.

Nobody would recommend living anywhere near the Northern end of Hamilton... however, Hamilton is a big city and there are some beautiful areas too. I just object to people making sweeping statements about Hamilton based on the North End. It's not all bad!

We have lived in Hamilton (Central Mountain) for 10 years. Our neighbourhood and surrounding neighbourhoods are lovely, great schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, nice kids, nice neighbours (havent seen anyone that has mutated yet). Streets are clean, no dog shit lying around, people take care of their property.
Havent been mugged yet, havent had to worry about the kids being mugged, house is still standing, children are healthy and active and :eek: doing very well inschool in this poverty shit ridden city :rolleyes:

You negative people who love to shit all a place that you have probably never actually visited other than driving though the downtown industrial areas, KEEP DRIVING, COS WE WOULDNT WANT YOU TO LOVE IN THE CITY ANYWAY.

The ignorance on this site about the city of Hamilton is astounding and the sweeping statements about it being a shit hole etc are ridiculous.!!

Better go and lock up my house and kids now.:eek:
