Haligonian/NS Meet up

Re: Haligonian/NS Meet up
Well its getting close so perhaps we should start to agree a place. Personally I agree with Ziggy......... The "Marketplace" on the waterfront, Saturday at noon. Its in between the ferry terminal and the Casino/ Purdy wharf towers.
It's flexible enough to be able to move tables around. Its child friendly. There's a variety of food and drink available, easy to find, there is a nice terrace, overlooking the harbour, to sit out on if the weather's good and its central for everyone.
What's everyone think??

Sounds like a plan to me. We plan to indulging in a bit of retail therapy at the MEC store downtown at some point on Sat. so that would be a good location for us.

OK. Just to check, is the 'Marketplace' that we are referring to, the one at the 'Historic Properties' on the waterfront http://www.historicproperties.ca/merch.htm ? Just want to make sure we go to the right place.
Phil. Thks for the PG!

You really are a complete tool arent you. If you dont want to contribute anything positive or helpful perhaps you could spend the time at your favourite B&Q store in Aberdeen and leave the rest of us alone?

am just trying to have a bit of banter
never yet have i resorted to petty name calling
(none of you were born in halifax were you ?)
you're taking it all a bit to heart
it's all too easy to play the cyber-hard man is'nt it ?
ps i did try & contribute some meaningful suggestions for your pow-wow earlier
what about the bandstand overlooking the container port in point-pleasant park ?
there's an old gun emplacement close-by where the kids can re-enact
Wolfe's capture of Quebec, while the adults can barbeque timbits on sticks
am sorely tempted to catch a zoom flight from Glasgow to join the fun
