Halifax High Schools

Halifax High Schools
We hope to land in NS some time next year - at least before September when the schools return. In terms of finalising areas, I would appreciate any direct experience of the following High Schools:
CP Allen
John A MacDonald
Halifax West
These are the high schools that serve our preferred areas so any views, good or bad, will help us in narrowing our selections. From what I've heard so far, CP Allen is the preferred choice but I remain open to be convinced otherwise. As this is a critical factor in our location decision we would like to be as informed as possible. I have already sought views from the Halifax School Board, realtors etc.
