I'm going to assume you are renting a vehicle.

Route from Calgary to H & R Transport, Lethbridge

I'll leave it for the local Lethbridge residents for the hotel recommendations.

Straight dow Highway 2 then Highway 3 and follow the signs dead easy

Most of the hotels are on Mayor Magrath Drive and I would think that one of those will be the best for you as it will be easier to get to H & R for your interview.

Most expensive will of course be Sandman, Coast and Ramada but there are quite a lot there.

Hello Sean, I work for H&R, best thing you can do is rent a car at the airport and drive down, there's no public transport.
Enterprise or National are about the most reasonable and you can do it online or even through the airline you are flying with.
When you go for interview ask David/Lyndon if they will book you in the Sandman or Lethbridge Lodge and you'll pay a reduced rate.

A truck driver asking for directions

If you are going to rent a car, rent from downtown or off airport, it is cheaper. If you are spending your first night at a hotel, you won't need a vehicle until the next day anyway. Many hotels run a free or low cost shuttle from the airport and most rental companies will pick you up from the hotel the next day. There is a premium for picking up a rental car at the airport, many rental companies however allow airport drop offs at no additional charge.

Aviator, what you gain by not paying a little extra for a rental at the airport, you would lose big time getting a hotel in Calgary.

Neil.
Other than when coming home, I never traveled far after a long haul flight. Always stayed in town or near the airport. Being tired and then driving in an unfamiliar country, possibly at night then trying to find somewhere to stay was asking for trouble.
