Did you check out the big downtown malls?

All of the malls are inside the buildings ... places like Bankers Hall and TD Square have multiple levels of shops ... Calgary doesn't have anything like Oxford Street,

Yes we went in Bankers hall and TD Square and the Eaton centre. We did notice that there wasn't any thing like Oxford street, the closes was Stephen street I supose.

Stephen Avenue Mall isn't quite the same as Oxfrod Street ... but it's good in summer ... they usually have live music and performers most days ... it's a bit quieter this time of year.

I don't know how much the population increases, but the city is crammed to bursting ... I'd be surprised if you could find a hotel room for next year's stampede already.

Free cowboy breakfasts ... office workers dressed like Roy Rogers, many of them hammered by mid-morning ... all the fun of the fair :D

It's a real hoot .....

And I can't wait... :D

Do you enjoy the stampede or is not your thing?

I'm not really into the going out with colleagues and getting embarassingly hammered aspect ... we treat it as more of a family event ... we didn't go in 2002 because I had just been laid off ... the kids were old enough to go on rides by themselves this year, so we treated it as a fun day at the fair and had a really good time.

I haven't been to the Stampede rodeo ... there are plenty of them over the summer at county fairs around the province ... they cost a lot less too. Depends how you feel about taking kids to a rodeo ... the riders get injured more often than the animals.

I have to admit to being a bit of a rodeo fan, not to sure about the wife and kids.

Isn't there a rodeo school just out side cochrane on the A1?

What a conversation you two have going here. Wouldn't it be easier if you just lived together? ;)
