From: Mississauga near Toronto - Moving To UK - Birmingham in 7 Weeks







hi all,
i went to canada in june 06 on research trip.
got job offer while there
applied for LMO HRSDC approval while there
took 2 weeks for positive LMO to arrive
applied for work permit 13th july 2006
GOT WORK PERMIT approval TODAY - 3rd Aug 2006
SO HAPPY..............
will go out to canada in 4 weeks after notice given ( contract with present employer ) on my own while wife and kids stay here until we hopefully get med req, then PR etc. AOR OCT 04 delay letter feb 06 to Dec 06
see how it goes..........

Great news, congrats
We are doing the Worp Permit thing at the moment and I hope it goes as smoothly. AOR is about the same too but we are all heading over on the WP's.

Hi sorry to be nosey but what kind of proffessions are you all in? we are wanting to sponsor my mum once we have landed in Oct but its going to take approx 4yrs so we were thinking of her doing the WP thing but I dont think her job as a payroll officer is a job in demand !!!

Ahh thanks anyway mate, ive suggested that one to her but she gets lost on the way to ASDA if im not with her.....
