Default Goods to Follow Time Frame

Can anyone tell me if there is a time frame to bring your goods to follow into Canada?

Moving over Sept, renting out house in UK for a year. Will then want to send over all our furniture etc.

Thanks

Depends which removal company you use - but usually four weeks or so - roughly, sort of......our stuff was picked up end of October, arrived Canada end of November.
If you don't have a company in mind, Google "overseas removers"

I did not find any thing legally binding on the Canadian Customs web site, but some 'experts' here and about, claim that you will have issues if you import your stuff over 1 year after landing.
