Default Good website for photos of Canada

Hi,

Surfing the net - as you do at work, I came accross this website which is excellent. I have managed to work out roughly where we will be living and working.

Thanks for that!

It even had photos of Pemberton, BC where we're hoping to move to, which is great as I can show everyone!

Ooh, bit depressing ! When I look at Cochrane, there's barely a scrap of greenery anywhere, looks like interior of southern spain at the end of the summer. I mean, I know it's a dry climate, but it does not look inviting at all from that angle !! I am so going to miss my gardening !!
New hobby to come; learning to stay in a vaguely upright position whilst heading down white, cold mountain side at speed. That'll keep me busy for quite some time, me thinks !

Don't worry, it all goes green in about ... er .... May! ....... and stays green til about mid-October (depending on how hot the summer is!) Now it'll be white!

I still haven't booked my beginners/lower intermediate ski lessons at the Olympic Park, but will soon .... any takers?

Morwenna - I'd be more than happy to come to COP with you ! If you're as much as a beginner as me, it'd worth a giggle !
Unfortunately, not likely to be this season. However, if you're still looking for partner in crime this time next year, count me in. I will manage to get five days in Banff in December - by which time I hope to master an upright position which I hear is so popular.

And I look forward to my May-October gardening session.
