We have to head out to Liverpool on Saturday so thought we would combine the trip with a chance to go to a good beach.
We will be driving down from Halifax, can anybody recommend any.
Many thanks.

Hirtles beach and crescent beach are both very good beaches, nearby to Riverport, not too far of the highway

If you have the time stay off the 103 and go on the old Highway 3 - its delightful. Queensland Beach in Hubbards is small but exquisite

If you are able whilst in NS I'd also recommend the beaches around Pictou, lovely sand and very warm sea as the sea is shallow.

we went to Martinique Beach last weekend, I was warned that the water would be cold as its the Atlantic (I prefer Melmerby near New Glasgow as its warm water) and it was! My feet were so cold they hurt but I got in anyway as others were already in and I didnt want to appear a wimp
