Give me a dope infused population in search of munchies over an alcohol infused population in search of a fight any day of the week (but especially Friday )

And quite a few on this board for whom moving to Canada was not an unmitigated disaster! I also directed her to the "misconceptions" thread to be fair.

I have defended you in the past, so don't start on me now.

I agree that you need to read the negatives and positives. Then it’s up to you to make an informed decision about immigration to Canada.

We liked a lot of aspects of living in Canada, but realised after a number of years what was important to us was in England.

Mate just an aside, there is a spell check facility. Can I suggest you either use that or type slower.

Ok I will use the spell check facility. I was diagnosed at 11 as having dyslexia which is true. It took me two attempts to pass O'Level English.!!

From what I've seen btw the quality of journalism over in Canada isn't as high as it is back home (not a huge deal but still) whether that's in print or televised.

When my Canadian g/f returned home after a year in England she pointed out that she finally realised what I'd been going on about re: their television news every time I visited. It's a lot more casual and sometimes focuses a lot on opinion/editorial along with a more 'entertainment' bent to the presentation than what you'll be used to if you're used to lots of BBC News 24 like me

Give me a dope infused population in search of munchies over an alcohol infused population in search of a fight any day of the week (but especially Friday )
Too bloody true.
