Globespan or Zoom
#1
My family are currently visiting us from Scotland for 3 weeks, where they flew with Globespan. I just wondered if anyone else has flown with them, as my family thought they were pretty decent.
We liked the service which Zoom provided a few years back, so just wondered if they are a pretty similar standard?
Cheers.

Hi ,
we are just back from an 18 day stint and used Globespan,no probs good value for money.Dont bother upgrading you dont get much more for your bucks ,and inflight meals are included in the price. They dont tell you that, we prebooked our meals £8 each way and found that on each journey everyone on the flight got a meal wether they paid or not.
Will be writing to them soon to get my money back as suggested by inflight crew member.

My relations flew Gatwick to Vancouver by Globespan last week, thankfully the flight was only 2 hours late, no information on website or yvr site, or at the airport as to what was happening with the flight. Flight was long thanks to a stop in Manchester, crew unfriendly Italians, food not good. But on reading the reviews on the above link, I figure they were quite lucky. They will never book with them again.
I've heard good things about Zoom. But personally, I prefer the scheduled airlines, preferably BA, never had a problem with them in 32 years of flying back and forth to the UK.

This is the most recent thread....not so good.....
We flew Zoom (GLA - Calgary) in April and it was fine both ways, no problems at all.
