hi i have just been to tesco and they have a world currency card..... you load it with money and its done in the currency you want you can use it in stores and atm's free load it online when u get to canada if you want to.... also to transfere your money from a british account to a canadian one the post office do it free you have to register for international payments and do it in amounts of £250 min but its cheaper than the bank transfering for you which is between £10-20 per transaction........ hope this helps
