Hmmm, not so good then. Looks nice enough, and the last stop on the GO line make it one of the farthest places you can live out on the train.
I take it there are plenty of these kinds of delays in the Winter. Maybe the other side of the GTA would be a better bet (Whitby, Ajax etc.) if I end up with a Toronto job.
We'd prefer to avoid two cars. Although the OH only needs the car 2-3 days per week.
BTW - I hope you never become my IT pimp!

The GO train is reliable, maybe an average of one day a year of not getting people where they're going, but only the Lakeshore line has a decent schedule. The trouble, of course, is that everyone wants to live along that line. Check the GO bus before giving up on Georgetown, GO does run buses over the same routes as the trains; occasionally having to catch the bus (from right by the Union train station) wouldn't be too bad.

I was an employee then, manager of database thingies, he was a DBA. I packed in wage salary for contracting/pimping/software stuff in 1985 so I guess that was in 1984.
The GO train is reliable, maybe an average of one day a year of not getting people where they're going, but only the Lakeshore line has a decent schedule.
