I'm sad to say that I don't think Calgary wants me to be "right here" as judging from the clip it's only welcoming to nubile looking folks under 25, preferably with a mix of ethnic backgrounds....aging middle England, trying hard to be Yummy Mummies need not apply, I fear. There were two chaps cira me, but one as a porter and t'other a door opener. I'd best stick to th geriatric friendly East Coast.

Wow everything happens in slow motion, spend all day flying helicopters over mountains, skiing, and giving kids god awful hair cuts. And the music is no better, is this suppose to attract or warn the general public about Calgary.
If you look close enough, that boat is moored on a Walmart parking lot.

It's very early for you lot to be drinking from your saucers of milk
Any of these arty farty type videos can make anywhere look, well, arty farty. I think it's a fair image of Calgary, which is full of people out doing "stuff". Never seen so many people out running, all year, or heading out in packed vehicles smothered in canoes or skies. And they do like to shop and drink too!
A fair criticism is the lack of ethnic diversity in the videos, which, despite the ingrown view of a conservative red neck backwater, is simply not how I see the make up of the city at all. It's maybe not as diverse as Tronno, or Vancouver but its a young growing city with over 30% visible minorities. And a Muslim mayor.
And this past couple of weeks, a spirit that has brought tears to my eyes. So naff songs are allowed, a "pretty" videos will do for me.
Right now, I am loving this city.

is it just me, or does every video on YouTube end up with a comment section full of people arguing about racism? haha
