Default IT geek looking to make the move.

Hi there everyone, my name is Stuart and myself and my wife are considering making the move.

We're going to visit Canada in september, hopefully do a week in Toronto and a week in Vancouver, bit of a fact finding visit really.

I just wanted to introduce myself and hope that people wont mind me asking a bunch of questions about the process of application and how they find living over in Canada.

First off, I have been in IT for 5 years, and I wondered does anyone know what the availability for IT jobs is like over there.

Thanks

Stuart

'Rain'couver is the place for IT - it's right next door to Seattle and the tech hub there, so that's where the IT start-ups and so on have headed.

Thanks everyone for your replies.
Will be hitting the Wiki with a passion this weekend, also I've booked tickets to go to the Canada-Expo at Olympia this June to go see some of the prospective employers.
Would you guys suggest taking a few copies of my resume with me?
