Default Gas jobs in Canada???

I am a 25 year old male currently living in England.Me and my girlfriend are seiously considering moving over to Canada.I was just wondering whether there are many gas jobs over there?I am a fully qualified Corgi registered heating engineer, employed and trained up by British Gas.Would this give me any advantage in getting a job over there? My girlfriend works in finance and is employed by a large well known bank, would she qualify for a visa under he qualifications that I have?any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Craig.

Re: Gas Jobs

Try Nova Scotia. Natural gas is just comming on stream here. Although I don't
work in that business I have heard that there are opportunities.

Contact Heritage Gas.

Good Luck

Hi

You can come and fit my gas fire.LOL

No seriously there is a shortage of trained Gas fitters in Nova Scotia. I have been trying since Xmas to get the company I bought the fire from to come and fit it. Every week I get the same excuse or engineers are busy on priority jobs and we can't get the trained personnel.

I am not sure whether your corgi qualifications are directly transferable but you could look it up.

Regards
