I know there is a fairly recent thread on this, but I can't find it. So I will ask the question...
My husband has received a letter asking for some further medical tests. We don't know what because they included a sealed envelope for the doctor.
He is very healthy and lasts year aced a through checkup that cost his company over 700.00£ it's part of his compensation package.
What could this mean?...
The good news is that they received our application on the 25 of June. So they are working on that batch of applications.

We had this and it was asking for more tests for my partner to do with blood pressure.
We rang the doctors where we had our meds done and they told us to open the envelope and read it over the phone. They then advised him on what he needed to ensure he got from his own doctor.
Bet your fingers are itching to open that letter aren't they
Try calling the place where your meds were done.
Good luck

Nah.. my goody two shoes husband took it to work. he called the doc who said to send it to him and then he would call and tell him what it says. pretty round about, I think. Had a cup of tea instead, with that water I boiled.

It looks like they want another X-ray to be done in September. They are saying they want six months showing no TB on X-ray. Original medical with xray was in June. So that means another in march, presuming they are excluding the original one in June. Whats with TB anyway, they can cure easily nowadays with antibiotics.
He has no history of TB and the doctor was very confused because there was absolutely nothing on the X-rays they took in June.
Will this add six months to the time we wait for the visa? Or will the rest of the spousal sponsorship go on as usual and hopefully everything will be in place when that last X-ray comes through so that the PR is approved then? will this hold up the spousal sponsorship part?
We are pretty upset, we were planning to move in October, him coming in on a visitors visa whilst waiting for the PR. will they let him in on a visitors visa now?
We will have nowhere to live if we can't be in Canada in the house we bought. The UK house was sold this spring!
Also, if he shows up with the pets and asks for a vistors visa because his PR has not been approved yet will they so no? Can he show up and say he is helping me move back to Canada ( I'm the citizen) will the deny him? If he gets in can the March X-ray be done in Canada?
I'm really panicked now...everything seems to be falling apart!

Sorry, I don't know the answer to any of your questions but I don't see how it would hurt to e-mail them and ask why they are concerned about TB if your husband has never had it. Someone else on here may tell you different, but if they don't respond you haven't lost anything have you?
Good luck and I hope someone is able to help you
