.......was nowhere near as bad as our cleaning ladies told us. We have just had the piccies sent of the inside of the house and it isn't bad at all. In fact it's not much dirtier than our boot room in this cottage in the UK!!!! The girls told us that the whole of the house was covered in this black oily soot! Now would you have imagined worse than this? Because I did!

Well I bet thats a relief! Frankly it looks cleaner than our house at the moment...you know what toddlers are like

Yes, indeed! I had certainly imagined something far more 'spectacular'!
Still being quoted $10,000 to replace the furnace...?

Adding the basement work and the A/C, $10k is probably about right I think, depending on A/C model chosen. Get a quiet one!

Husband negated to tell me that this was all included in the price!!! That is why I was so blown away by all the prices you guys were quoting on the last thread. I thought we were being ripped off, but then he explained that it wasn't just the furnace for this price.
