Default furnace

I got up this morning and my house was freezing, I thought the temps outside must be really bad but I checked the tele and it was only minus 22c luckily I have a gas fire place so I switched it on, the thermastat was showing everything was ok? but when I went to the basement and checked the furnace it was dead as a do-do, luckily for me one of my sons works for the gasboard so he came over and got it going again for me. It really got me thinking about the poor sods who have to sleep outside in these temps, I dont know how the hell they do it.

Imagine having to sleep in wet snow to boot - I don't know how they do it ... makes you thankful everytime you get into a warm bed!
