Hi All
Just wanted to know has anyone experienced Fox's removals. Had a total of 7 companies in to quote. Fox's were one of the most informative and have also came in at a very reasonable. In some cases, nearly £1000.00 Cheaper.
I am not saying cheap is necessarily good, but budget restrictions are tight !
Cheers in advance !!!

We had 6 companies quote, and Fox's were also the cheapest. They weren't as helpful as Doree Bonner, but the guy from Doree Bonner looked at their quote and said they have included everything he would expect to see and had all the right accreditations

I remember someone on here recommending them but I am not sure who. If you do a search you will probably find it. We are getting a quote from them next week as quite a few people have said they are reasonably priced.

Just wanted to add...Foxes quoted cheaper but we told Anglo Pacific and they reduced their quote by £500 and they were by far the most profesional..we weren't impressed by the Fox Rep..

Just to say I used Fox and they delivered everything 5 weeks ago with nothing broken! I was really impressed with the level of customer service and they kept me informed at all time re the progress of my stuff and where it was. I would recommend using them. Good luck!

I asked for a 20 ft container but the moving reps came round to assess what I had to pack. I had 2 quotes including Foxes which was cheaper but in the small print it stated 20 ft container with goods not exceeding 610cubic foot but another mover who I went with stated 20 foot container not exceeding 1100 cubic feet - so the cubic feet measurements make a difference as you could pay an excess to reach your 20 ft limit ( which is approx 1100 cubic feet ). Also make sure that the quote is for a steel container not a refridgerated container ( this could have contained foodstuffs which is cleaned between use but can whiff after a long journey).
I used the lower quote from Fox to negotiate the actual moving cost and insurance with the other mover ( who I wanted to fgo with anyway as I was very impressed wwith their professionalism and helpfulness, everything was explined in great detail ( which is why I can give you some info as I don't have any previous experience of moving at all).

I agree, its the proof of the pudding that counts, although I'm going with another when I contacted Fox the warehouse manager was very helpful and the company has been around my area for a good number of years with a very good reputation.
Good luck
