how many of you ~went alone~ when applying for your visas/residency

or

used an immigration company, solicitors etc

your comments would be much appreciated as would the names of the companies you used; we personally used four corners and they got us self employed status rather than the entrepreneural.

did it alone..once you know you have the points why spend monies on agencies, they can't speed up the process

I did it alone because I was a poor student. Wouldn't have minded having someone else do it for me though!

myself and some of my mates, did it ourselves also. It says so on the immigration website that...using a lawyer/agent, will not speed up the process in any way shape or form.

Once you know you pretty much have all your documents, `bob is your uncle`.
