Yes, it's mainly the flying part. Another option might be to drive (last resort)...but from Virginia to Alberta....:scared:

We drive back and forth to Colorado, three days, rather dull but cheaper than flying and, very much cheaper than flying and renting a car at the other end.

I believe my p-i-l are planning to do that in reverse this summer. Well, roughly, we're not sure where Evergreen is.

It would be rather alarming to discover that we are related in some way dbd...quite a few geographic coincidences...lol...you don't know a Brit vet out that way do you? ;)

Just mapquested Evergreen, if you'd said Elephant Park I would have known where it was. Fortunately all the Brits I know out there are computer people or <gasp> accountants.

Talked to hubby last night...said driving might be the way to go. My brother and my parents (helping bro relocate) drove from Northern VA to Seattle...took about a week...driving 8-10 hours each day, I think?

I think renting a van might be a good idea...would give our pug some room to throw her monkey-tantrums (which I hope would wear off after the first few hours :scared: )
