Flying our cat from Manchester to Toronto - HELP!
Hello!
I am flying, along with my cat, from Manchester to Toronto in just under two weeks with Air Transat.
A company has booked the cats flight and sorted the necesary pet paperwork, I am just panicking about the flight itself.
I am struggling to find any information about where exactly I take her to at Manchester Airport, and then where I collect her from in Toronto.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

If in cabin or on the same flight , then take it with you to check in. If a company arranged the flight, this company usually arranges airport formalities at both ends.

She is flying on the same flight, but she is flying in the hold. There was the option to pay for them to arrange the formalities but it costed into the hundreds extra, so we chose to take and collect her ourselves. Just need to find out the locations really

We flew with our cat (on a different route with a different airline from you), but basically presented ourselves about 3hrs before flight time at the regular check-in desk and everything was made clear from there. First of course they took our money to pay for his transportation! Then my husband and the cat were escorted to a separate security area so that he could hold said cat whilst the carrier was x-ray scanned and inspected. Then he left the cat and we were reunited with it at the oversize luggage area when we arrived in Canada - at which point we had to process papers.
Perhaps ask Air Transat directly too if you're concerned? I found this page on their website with general info: https://www.airtransat.com/en-CA/Tra...d-service-dogs

Apparently I've never had a cat (duh) and it has been rumoured that I have a slight leaning towards dogs in preference to cats, as has Snoop, that may come as a surprise to some but this little fella is quite cute- he is the hotel welcoming cat called Jack... There, I've said it , now get over it .
