Depart London for Vancouver on Friday morning! Can't get my head round how quickly the final months go by!!
Chasing my tail getting final details completed and will be glad to wake up Saturday morning with it all behind us!

Wow, congratulations! Bon voyage and try to enjoy some of the next bits. I am sure that lots of us remember with horror the out of body feeling of moving to Canada. You don't feel normal for a while, and whilst it's exciting, it's scary too, a good scary, but scary!

Thanks both! I'm looking forward to coming out the other side, when the holiday feeling has worn off and it's just "normal".

The application process (common law sponsorship in family class) took about 3-4 months to have the visa in my passport, then i landed 3 months later. We ended up living in Stratford on Avon between applying and recieving the visa and both me and other half loved it there so that interrupted for a few years so just now officially moving! If we'd never moved to Stratford, we'd have been in BC years ago!
I found the whole process fairly straight forward, though probably other visa are more challenging.

Ah right. I've had an interview with a company over there and there waiting for the lmia's (LMOS) to come through from the government. Been waiting since May. Hopefully it'll be soon.

we literally got our PR (through FSW program) last week Wednesday and booked our flights last night! departing end of october...
everything is happening soo fast, havent even told work yet!!? :O
