Default Flyglobespan

Hi,
just a snippet straight of the press, the above have reduced prices by around £60 a head for August, working out at £1720 for 4 of us.We were meant to pay the final amount today i pointed out the hassle they caused by changing our flights. So after a bit of deliberation on their part ,we saved £240 on total.Try your luck.

I was checking flights out in an idle moment last night and found some rediculiously cheap flights (~£360 inc taxes) from London to Vancouver. Admittedly you had to fly via minnesota (or something). lastminute.com or opodo.co.uk

We've been looking at flights for when the inlaws come over- all 6 of them.
They were hoping to come over the last week of July, but it was almost £700 p/person with Globespan/Air Transat/Canadian Affair.

However, looking a month earlier and the price more than halves.
We can get it for £1788, which is roughly £300 each incl. taxes.

Hi all.
wonder why they have started to cut down the prices especially in the peak times.I reckon they must be struggling to fill the planes,oh well suits me ,just hope they don,t consolidate the flight anymore.
Cheers Arty & Co

They changed our flight yet again, from 2.30p.m. to 10.30a.m. which is probably better for us although I wouldn't tell Globespan that

Ah, so they haven't changed the date on you yet ! Tried them once. Two days delay. They are notoriously unreliable. Cheap maybe, reliable, not at all. Good luck and I hope they don't pull that one on you like they did with me.

Hi Simon,
unfortunately thats just what they did do ,moved us from the 5th - the 8th of August. Now the times have changed but as i said suits us better this time.Plus the fact i saved £240 on the original price
Thought we would have had hassle cancelling our hotels ,turned out everything was a ok ,car hire a different story.Canadian affair wanted to charge us £30 to amamendar hire ,blamed National Car Hire who blamed Canadian Affair .Talked to a not so nice guy in National Car Hire (UK side) who could not amend the dates as the contract had been taken out by a third party Canadian Affair .I ended up talking to a lovely lady at National Car Hire (NS) who changed everything for us without a single penny getting added on
Also rebooked our Hotels and got an even better deal at the Marriott Harbourfront for the first 5 nights
So all in all it has turned out to be for the best, maybe i should'nt have said that

Cheers Arty & Co
