never thought we'd get this far but our visa's arrived today I've read a lot of people got their ppr's about the same time as us......so not long now you guys......anyhow its time for me to start asking more questions about the next stage...(landing) and thanks to all who have answered my questions in the past, no matter how stupid they may have been

PR cards were sent to my aunts address in Red Deer, they took just three & half wks.

That is something new you'll have to get used to. Canadian Spring is the first week in May.

I told our postie he had my permission to sign for anything himself that was for me or the missus and then drop it through our letter box.....he did.........hence it was on our doormat when I got home.

I'm not really used to seasons in the uk........Where I live in yorkshire I find winters are now like spring and spring can often seem like winter................

Hi Steve, yes we got them and we are going over to B.C. in late December but not to officially land, just to make some final plans. Hoping to sell the house and finally get out there by next spring.
The Okanagan is the area we are going to but have not made a specific destination yet, maybe Kelowna, maybe Kamloops. Hopefully all will be clearer after our next visit.
