With the demise of Zoom Airlines, I'm finding it very difficult to find affordable flights March - end of May to anywhere in the UK (I'd also consider Dublin/ Paris or Amsterdam.) Anybody got any suggestions on what airlines to try?

From looking we have found that flying from MAN to GAT £50 ish then GAT to YYZ £150ish thats at end of April 09(Canadian affair)

Canadian Affair are probably the cheapest and fly from Halifax to London Gatwick. Other options are Condor, Iceland Air and Continental although these are not direct flights.

Globespan are the successor to Zoom in the low cost stakes.

Mixed reviews on their service from posters on here ( i have not yet used them) but from the website looks like Glasgow is the only place they are heading and 27th of May is the first flight out of Halifax $279 including taxes.

Just had a look, and Icelandair seems to be the cheapest by far.

icelandair are wonderful highly recommend saga class the complimnetary buffet at iceland airport and as much champagne as you can guzzle are exellent!!

Thanks everybody...I checked out everyone that was suggested, in the end booked for early May through Canadian Affair Halifax to Gatwick because we got the hire car so cheap!
