Depending on the carrier some are seasonal flights only eg May - Oct. I believe Westjet is seasonal.

Flights from where?
if London - Air Canada flies year round but not every day of the week during the winter. Try different dates.

Probably because the market for flights is small (less than one million population in NS), and the bulk of tourists seem to come on the cruise ships. Still, as long as there's a flight out of here, I am happy!

What an odd thing to say! There are many people travelling to NS by air both for personal, business and tourism purposes. The latter I imagine outweighs tourists arriving by cruise liner by a fair margin, though granted, will be far less than all the tourists who drive to Nova Scotia. But thats all irrelevant to the OP's question. Which is impossible to answer without knowing from where he wants to fly to Halifax in November.
