Shop around - if you catch a good special offer Air Canada or BA prices are similar to the charter airlines...

And the whole experience is a world apart from a charter.

Try Canadian Affair if your dates are flexible and you shop around you can get some good deals. Departures from most UK airports to major Canadian cities. Look carefully at flyglobespan they may appear the more attractive option but to some cities in Canada like Toronto they use Hamilton rather than Pearson.

If your under 26, The STA are brilliant- we just booked ours for £329 return...They often have loads of deals on and you don't have to be a student, you just have to meet the age criteria. Good luck!

We have used Canadian Affair on the last 3 trips we have made and we upgraded to Premier and for us it was worth it...hubby is 6ft4 and needs the leg room......having said that our last journey back I was not that impressed as we didnt have personal tvs so couldnt choose what we wanted to watch but we survived and the 30kg each bag limit helps too!

We are looking at a package holidays now as it looks like it works out cheaper, we are looking for accom and flights for 2 peeps around the Langley Abbotsford or Mission areas, then it`s a breif look around the areas we like and also looking into property and the jobs market among other things. We will be flying over around Jan or Feb 2010.
