I remember the M&S on Granville (though I only went inside once), and the butcher shop with the sign "We Hae Meat That Ye Can Eat" on the other side of the street. There was a little Waitrose grocery store somewhere I had to drive my aunt to once a week as well.

My Wife swears by M&S no VPL knickers. She buys them online and these are her knickers of choice.
