Rubie every house is different, Feng Shui is like looking at the horoscope of a property. It is all about the time it was built, the direction to the nearest degree it faces and the topography of the location. It should never be looked at alone without consulting the Chinese Horoscopes of the inhabitants of the property. It is very powerful and I do not mean to upset anyone, but if a doctor makes a mistake with a patient it will effect that person, but a feng shui consultant can effect all the inhabitants of a property if they get it wrong. It takes a week to do a full analysis of a house and it's occupants and hours going over it in person. When it comes to selling properties there are a few factors that can be looked into to see what is happening.
Many large corporate companies use it especially in Asia. Walt Disney have used it in Hong Kong. None of them make any major decisions without consulting their Feng Shui Masters. Feng Shui is the prescription, Chinese Astrology is the diagnosis.

Funny how this sort of crap can only be carried out by paying someone a great big of wedge of cash to do it. I do wonder about the understanding some people have of the world around is if they genuinely believe any of this nonsense could possibly be true. It's either a failure of science education or the triumph of cynical marketing. Either way it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.

....well I can't believe this! Had a phone call from Estate Agent this morning!! Someone else wants to view our house !! Second viewing in 2 days since using Feng Shui! We hadn't had a viewing since last October/November.

Bazzz sometimes it's just a case of people opening their minds, we are not asking you to have a belief in Feng Shui or to agree with what we are doing, just because you don't believe doesn't make us wrong. Neither are we suggesting that everyone should try it. It's fine that you don't believe and that you disagree but I have tried everything to sell my house. It's a large sized, 3 bed detached new build house, no work needing to be done to it, it is immaculately decorated, the carpets are all less than a year old as are all of the Stainless Steel NEFF appliances in the kitchen, it is in a quiet cul de sac, large garden. My house is always immaculately tidy and clean, we have no clutter and we on the market below market value, but we can't sell it despite using different agents, dropping our price etc etc. We also live in what has become a depressed area where one of the towns bigger employers are about to make a lot of redundancies. We leave for Red Deer in less than 3 weeks and will be paying a mortgage and rent...Our time for sceptism is gone, I initially crumpled my nose up and my MIL laughed at me when I mentioned Feng Shui, but we decided it was worth a go, after all who am I to suggest that half of the Eastern world is wrong in their beliefs and also what did we have to lose?

Anyway, the good news is we have another viewing and we are waiting to hear from our agents about the other viewing.

Why can't half of the "Eastern World" be wrong? People are generally stupid and when they don't understand how things happen, they seek explanations and readily believe what other people will tell them, regardless of how daft they are. Like little baby jesus.

Your house will not get sold because of increased flow of chi, or any other superstitious bullshit (largely because there's no such thing as chi).

What great news - who cares whether other people think your barmy. It really doesn't matter as long as you're getting results.
