- 10 C here, and it's finally stopped snowing
. I've decided the weather network is wrong tho, they've been saying 2-4 cm over the last 24 hours, and we've had at least 18 inches. older lad (9) is loving it, had his first 'snow day' yesterday, but the toddler's not too sure, she hates having dirty hands, and is getting very upset cos the snow keeps sticking to her mitts!
btw - found a really easy way to shovel snow - I use it like a plow, and just push it into the pile the plow's put at the end of my path. also, a very nice neighbour has a plow on his pick-up and he's been doing my drive for me

I guess we will be getting lots of practice here in the next 24 hours. not like out east though!
FWIW mines the same about snow on her mitts, or spilled food or anything like that!

On the plus side, I have just been informed by my boss that very likely I will be required to spend two weeks in Germany, France, Italy and Spain straight after the New Year. Dunno if I want to go, really.
