First Landing

I finally got my visa through a couple of weeks ago. It took about 6 months all in all, so I guess I was lucky.
I will be flying out to Toronto in a couple of weeks time and was wondering if someone could give me some more information about what happens when you first land.
I know you get interviewed again by an immigration officer, but could someone expand on what occurs and give me some idea of how long the process takes so I can advise my wife how long she can expect to be waiting.
Many thanks.
Rich.

The landing procedure is generally fairly simple. Documentation is
verified, and evidence of settlement funds may again be requested. There
is little else that is required of the applicant at such time, and the
process can typically be concluded within an hour.
