Finding work with little time remaining on visa
Hi,
I am in Vancouver and my visa expires in May, I am applying for another (IEC) but until I actually have the SIN number I am not allowed to say I can work beyond the end date of my current one.
I am working full time and have been in the same place for about 6 months. However, recent events have made me quite keen to leave. I am wondering what work is available to people with fewer than 6 months remaining on their visa? Does anyone have any ideas? I am physically unsuited to construction and day labor and inexperienced in bar work.
