Hi All,
Just want to say thanks to all who helped and contributed in one way or another to my journey so far.
I finally landed in Calgary on 01 May and my landing process was as easy as can be. Was so surprised by the friendliness of the immigration officers and had no stress at all, all went very hitch free
Been quite busy since then trying to sort out the SIN Number, health registration and my CGA conversion. All done now and the very important task of job searching has now started
Looking a bit daunting at the mo, getting the impression that the Canadian experience may be an issue but guess to early to conclude so will just keep searching and hope the CGA membership now under my belt will help.
Sending out loads of applications
daily at the mo so will give it like a week to see if any responses come in, none so far!!
Hopefully, will not have to lament on this website. For now just want to say thanks all and if anyone knows of any companies recruiting for Finance / Accounting posts, keep me informed.
Thanks y'all and will hopefully have some good news to share soon. Have a great week all.
Kingskid.

Hi Kingskid
Welcome to Calgary! It truly is an amazing place to live. I moved from the UK 6 and a half years ago. Lots of oportunity for work and recreation
Mountains are so close!
I'm in the finance field myself. I could help you get a foot in and meet some people if you would like?
Hope you are well
