hi all
finally after 25 months of headaches, tears, and emotional breakdown we have PR status.
Lots of headaches due to police certificates from various countries lived in, but the biggest dilemma was LIBYA..... After communications between Immigration and ourselves regarding not being able to get police certs from Libya, they finally accepted the reasons behind it (war etc) and granted us PR status.
Now on to Citizenship......
Can someone please tell me how many days i have to be in Canada before we can apply? And does tat start from applying for PR or Recieving PR?
Thanks

Each before PR counts as half a day towards citizenship

Welcome to Canada eh!
I concur with bats on the Citizenship, every day pre-PR counts as 1/2 a day up to a maximum of 730 x 1/2 days = 365 - you can read more here (on the note at the top): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kit...n/CIT0407E.pdf
