Default Final date for posting cards to Europe

What is the final day for posting cards to Europe?

I haven't managed to write any christmas cards yet and on the way into the office this morning I was making a mental list of the things to be done, and to my horror I also remembered that someone told me it was Dec 4th....... which is TODAY !!!!!!

Any advances on the 4th ?

I usually mail mine in June - people are never sure if it was last year's late, or this year's early.

Hi
I had a Canada Post booklet which had an 'advisory' date of November 27th (we posted all our stuff yesterday - 3rd). In the booklet it states that mail can take up to 10 days...so my advice would be to get them posted this week...Hope this helps....

i've just got back from the post office where my two parcels were going to cost £60 to send to the UK. They advised repacking and trying to make the pakages smaller. I had put all my families in one parcel and all his in another. they reckon it might be cheaper if they were several small parcels.

so i will try this approach and see, seems barmy to me but then i have noticed many odd things since i have been here!
