Feeling lonely and needing a moan!!
Moved to NS four months ago. Gorgeous place but feeling a little isolated at the moment. My husband works all day so needs the car leaving me stuck at home alone with my youngest daughter 
(sad face for being stuck at home not for being with my daughter!! 
). Gone from a working, singing, out riding three times a week, social person to being stuck at home 24/6!! I would like to work from home but not sure where to start or what to do!! I'm about to go stir crazy!!!
Anyone have some advice?

Check out the events pages on Craigslist for your area and also Meetup.com. You should be able to find things to go to which will help you build up a small social life if you make the effort.

Check out the events pages on Craigslist for your area and also Meetup.com. You should be able to find things to go to which will help you build up a small social life if you make the effort.

sometimes all the effort in the world won't help.Quite a few of those events on Meetup cost $$$$ so really aren't an option
There is a FB page for expats in Nova Scotia and the peeps there do seem to meet up often, I'm sure one or two will be along soon.

There are lots of us here especially around the area where you are and lots with young kids, lots of things happening, there is a meet up for the parade of lights in Halifax this saturday evening along with a boys meet up in the afternoon for beer and footie. Curry night at mine in a couple of week
