I'd imagine so. I play PC games and they often have updates/patches. Had one the other day that was nearly 1GB for example.

Teksavvy give 300GB by default I believe. Where did the 80GB figure come in?

Typical Rogers/Bell package ... we've got our phones with Rogers so was seeing if it was financially viable. Really not looking like it. Want to stay within £100 preferably.

If we choose not to do cable or satellite tv - are there still basic channels we can watch when we have a tv or will we be solely reliant on netflix etc or a cable/satellite package?

My wife and I use WIND for our phones.
Teksavvy for the internet
Netflix for TV. Don't have a subscription for cable or satellite.
Comes to after $140 after tax

When we both had Bell for our phones, their internet and their middle of the road satellite TV it was regularly over $300. In the end we bought ourselves out of the contracts remaining because it still worked out cheaper to do the above.

I've been with Youmano.com for 3 years now. It's 300Gb limit but they never enforce it. I am paying $28 per month but I believe that's gone up for new subscribers recently. Service has been great and never had a disconnection where I had to contact them.

If you are interested in joining them, let me know and I can refer you for a free month for each of us.

Thanks! Having a look now ...

For 25mbps (fibre) they're quoting 39.95 + 10 modem rental = 49.95 .... would that have tax on top of it?

Usually yes, tax is on top of what's quoted
