I am in the middle east and my file transfer letter arrived after a month delay in post (from Buffalo) . It is mentioned that LA office will give me two months notice for the interview.

1. Due to delay in post, is it better to use my friend's address in
USA for future correspondence?

2. What are the actual notice periods for interview (LA office) ?
