try rebooting after you uninstall and before you reinstall aswell

Still can't get iPlayer to work through this and I'm on a home connection now.

Is it still routing the VPN traffic via the States at the moment?

I couldn't get mine to work last night so I uninstalled then installed the version that is on the FB Expat Shield page and it now works....maybe try that?

In the end I used the tried and trusted method - I used a different computer and it worked fine (no idea why it wouldn't work on my newer laptop)

I´m in Spain and Expat is working on BBC and ITV player again but NOT 4OD on Channel 4 or Youtube so still can´t watch back episodes.
That site for Channel 4 live (Live station)works perfectly though - cheers!

I have never had any luck with Channel 4, I connect via Seesaw.......

Somebody suggested it to and I just spread the word on Seesaw.

There is a virus that creeps in and takes over your .exe files called Vista2011.
My virus killer picked it out and traced the source - make sure you have a good malware detector too!

It may not be available to you but I can't see why not. You can now connect to all other kind of tv channels (including 4oD) from the BBC iPlayer site. On the left hand site where the BBC channels are there's a link for Other TV Channels and 4 and many others is/are there. It works very well for me.

No problem here. I was using it this morning.

I can get my expat shield no problem but suddenly last couple of days the Itv payer and STv player keep coming up with the message "internet error please try again" try again I do but no luck BBC okay. Anybody else having this problem.Any suggestions please CC.
