If travelling on direct flight to Canada. Do Canadian PRs have to pay exit fees from Mexico? Entry and exit to Mexico will be on a British Passport.
We are having a family meet up in Mexico next month. My relatives from the UK are meeting us there. They have received a letter from their travel agent, informing them that they would have to pay a exit tax.
Wondering if we would have to pay this to?

There is a tourism tax and airport impovement tax (about $70 in total IIRC) but it is usually included in the price of your airfare.

Mexican taxes are included in the price of the plane ticket - nothing extra to pay.
Nothing to pay if leaving by land either.

When you arrive you will get a tourist visa at immigration. Keep it safe. You need it when you fly out.
