Hello, just joined up tonight. Possibly moving to Greater Vancouver area within the year if partner likes his job! Will have hundreds of questions but happy to read everyone's experiences for now. Will be going with two children (13 and 8). Scared to death....!

Welcome to BE
Fab site - not only do you get information that you ask for but we are our own community and tend to support each other through the good and the bad.
Don't be worried about feeling scared - it's only natural and everyone on here has suffered from that feeling hun.
If you think of a question - each of the forums related to Canada has it's own search facility so do a quick search and if you cant find what you are looking for then ask away even if you think it is a stupid question because there will always be someone who has had the same question or someone else who is too scared to ask it.

Stacks of info on the site and a good bunch of bods, mostly.
Be warned though, you will slowly find yourself getting addicted to the site.

Good luck with everything.

Welcome, it's mad here, and addictive...
Everyone is fab, and you will get lots of advice, and like you I'm scared, especially with 3 children in tow, this decision affects them so much HUGE responsibility, but we all ive in hope that we're doing the right thing!
Good Luck

Welcome to the greatest online entertainment source since the invention of the screensaver!
One thing worth remembering in the forum: There's no such thing as a silly question (chances are that we're all thinking it but no-one has said it yet)
Glad to have you on board.

Welcome, yes this is addictive, I check the site at least once a day!
Yup, it's like a roller coaster, one minute you are scared, the next you are too excited to sleep. One thing that's interesting is that nobody asks why you are doing this move, they all tell you how jealous they are or how "lucky" you are. So we must be doing the right thing. Mind you, luck doesn't come into it..... it is hard work, but I've a feeling it will all be well worth it.
Good luck

Welcome to the site, all I will say is take a seat , hold tight and go with the flow.
A nice glass of wine or valium maybe occasionally needed, medicinal of course.
You are just about to experience the ride of your life.
Plenty of humour, sarcasm and sound advice on this site, just ask away

Hi and welcome
We're in Florida, ahead of flying to BC in three weeks to start our 'new lives' - it is scary, but exciting too.
Enjoy!
