ETA + Visitor record for children
Hi, we are applying for LMIA-exempt work permit (1 year) for myself and open work permit for spouse. For children (2y, 3y) we were advised to just get ETA on arrival in Canada and then request an extension/visitor record after six months. Does anyone have experience of this method? The IRCC website is not too clear.

Re: ETA + Visitor record for children
Provided all passports have a validity past the 1 year work permits the easiest way is requesting Visitor Records for the children on arrival when they issue the work permits. No charge for a VR issued at a Port of Entry.
